Indiana Hospital Consumer Reports & Physician Malpractice Information

Indiana residents now have access to two new types of information to help them make health care decisions: Indiana Hospital Consumer Reports and the Indiana Patients' Compensation Fund Website.

 Indiana Hospital Consumer Reports
The Indiana State Department of Health has recently made available information on Indiana Hospitals including the services offered, the number of doctors practicing there and the number of deficiencies from inspections, the number of patient complaints and data compiled by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Indiana Patient's Compensation Fund Website
The Indiana State Department of Health has made available to the public the ability to search for information about malpractice claims against Indiana providers.  Users can search by claim number, plaintiff name, provider license number, organization name, and provider ID.
